First of all, thank you for making the way for people who have Celiac Disease,is able to eat a good and healthy bread again. There are really limited eat out and carry out food out there but we found one. I have been learning how to make a gluten free bread from a scrath but the taste and complication for GF ingredients make me tried. We bought a loaf of GF bread at Whole Foods and Trader's Joe. There are so hard like a rock, taste thump down and not quite right so we were straving for eating and tasting a good bread. We found out that they have a Wheat free bakery and cafe out there in Evanstan so we went there. We love almond bar. My husband had the Hamberger. It was good and he almost cried after his first bite. I had Pizza. It was pretty good but small well I won't care much because it is so so hard to make and find one fresh(but trust me if you make it from a scrath it takes a long time and finger cross for a taste). We want to thank you Rose's bakery to make us happy for a meal(at least). We sure want to go back there and check out the new GF bread again^-^
Thank you, thank you! It is truly a god-send, that Rose would open this bakery. I was delighted to walk in and find all sorts of baked goodies I could take home. But, before that I sat down for lunch and had a delightful chicken/avocado sandwich, with slaw (awesome), homemade chips (delicious), and the roll was wonderful. The cafe/bakery is located in Evanston, on Central - just west of the hospital. The prices are reasonable and the owner is very involved, just a breath of fresh air. Thanks again! Keep up the hard work........
I was diagnosed with celiac disease in January 2007. I am a wife, mother and wellness educator. My passion is to help others learn to live a better life by making healthier food choices.
